Position: Sector Sales Specialist - Oil & Gas

Overview

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Sector Sales Specialist - Oil & Gas based in Doha. You will manage a sales plan (account portfolio) to grow within current customers, target and win back lapsed customers, and prospect target customers (new clients) with a focus on growth and profitability. The role is a 40%/60% split between new business prospecting and existing account growth.

Responsibilities
  • Target, develop & acquire customers within your sales plan.
  • Be motivated to meet and exceed targets; drive revenue targets and sales KPI attainment.
  • Ensure 3rd party costs are appropriately priced (fuel, freight & rehire).
  • Operate as a commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience; target-driven and results-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales and activity KPI targets.
  • Possess a valid Qatar driving license and be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Follow Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence) and comply with CRM and CPQ processes (Salesforce).
  • Minimum sales activity requirements and CRM & CPQ compliance.
  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for developing business, including product/sector revenue targets.
  • Identify new customers/business to grow the key account portfolio.
  • Expand and maintain the network of current and potential customers through weekly face-to-face and telephone sales calls.
  • Prepare and submit proposals that include technical and commercial details of the client’s needs per Aggreko’s terms and conditions.
  • Acquire knowledge of internal administrative practices, hire procedures, quick track system, product knowledge, and depot operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience with in the temporary power & HVAC / Oil & Gas industry.
  • Degree qualification in sales or in a technical discipline OR a minimum of 5 years of successful high-level sales experience in the industrial services environment.
  • Dedication and commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Experience in selling (or renting) capital equipment or selling technical/engineering solutions or services (solution selling).
  • Proven track record of delivering results in line with targets.
