About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, project sales, and client relationship management within the lighting industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, interior designers, and project owners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads for lighting products and solutions.
  • Promote company products including indoor, outdoor, decorative, commercial, and industrial lighting solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and site visits.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the technical and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical expertise is critical; clients expect detailed knowledge of lighting systems, not just sales skills.
  • Minimum 5 8 years of sales experience in the lighting, electrical, or construction industry in Qatar.
  • Strong network with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders in the Qatari market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in project sales and tender business.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
