Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development & Marine Sales Executive to drive sales growth, generate new business opportunities, and expand the Marine Division within the Qatar market. The ideal candidate should possess a background in Marine Engineering and have proven experience in sales, client acquisition, and business development within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, ship repair, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine, offshore, oil & gas, ports, shipyards, and maritime sectors.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Prepare and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Promote marine engineering services, vessel maintenance solutions, marine manpower supply, and related services.
- Identify opportunities for new service offerings and strategic partnerships.
- Support management in expanding the company's marine business portfolio across Qatar.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, networking forums, and client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups.
- Address customer inquiries and coordinate with technical teams for service delivery.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide management with regular market feedback and business insights.
- Identify upcoming projects and tender opportunities within the marine sector.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Submit business development updates, forecasts, and achievement reports.
- Monitor sales performance against assigned KPIs and targets.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering
, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline. - Additional certifications in Sales, Business Development, or Maritime Operations will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marine Services.
- Experience in Qatar's marine, offshore, shipyard, maritime, logistics, or oil & gas sectors is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong understanding of marine engineering and maritime operations.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of Qatar market and marine industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Valid Qatar Driving License (Preferred).
- Locally available in Qatar.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Willingness to travel within Qatar for client meetings and business development activities.
