Position Summary
The Business Consultant at Property Finder is responsible for retaining and expanding the customer base through consistent business consultations, coaching and training, and data‑driven conversations. Business Consultants manage their own book of business and earn a bonus compensation plan tied to key performance targets.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and become an expert on the Property Finder solution portfolio.
- Sell technology‑enabled advertising and property listing solutions to new real‑estate brokerages.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with Sales Development Reps to qualify and win new prospects.
- Use a consultative approach to identify prospects’ needs and match them to appropriate solutions.
- Record opportunities and activities within Property Finder's Salesforce CRM on a weekly basis.
- Forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue expectations with predictable accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships through consistent support and consultation.
- Prepare and present business proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize mutual interest.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure clients’ requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a science major.
- Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in a SaaS or subscription environment (real‑estate experience is a plus).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proven ability to produce accurate forecasting.
- Strong public speaking, communication, presentation, and data translation skills.
- Adept at speaking with key decision makers.
- Assertive, influential, and highly motivated, with a proven ability to work in a target‑driven environment.
- Understanding of the real‑estate industry is desirable.
- Determination to succeed and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Well presented and well prepared for client interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and experience using CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Seasoned sales professional with solid experience hunting for new customers.
- Driven to always win and pursue new opportunities.
- Extensive experience selling SaaS or subscription products.
- Consistently provides reliable forecasts to the business.
- Proactive in researching new customers and uncovering market opportunities.
- Expert at positioning new solutions and embracing innovative approaches.
- Effectively handles competition and objections, demonstrating why the customer needs the solution.
- Skilled at navigating a customer organization’s hierarchy to reach decision makers.
- Consultative approach with ROI analysis, producing business reports and proposals that compare current practices to proposed solutions.
- Effective communicator, always prepared for client engagements.
- Team player who collaborates with other functions to deliver optimal results for both the company and the client.
