Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth and expand our footprint within Public Sector and Government accounts in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT services/solutions sales
, strong relationships within government entities, and the ability to manage complex, high-value engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate and expand in Public Sector accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company offerings (IT Services, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets
  • Public Sector Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, ministries, and public institutions
  • Navigate procurement processes, RFIs, RFPs, and tenders
  • Position the company as a trusted advisor to public sector clients
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Develop a qualified pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Lead large deal pursuits, including bid management and proposal development
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Delivery, Marketing, Alliances)
  • Work closely with partners and vendors to strengthen offerings
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and public sector initiatives
  • Identify emerging opportunities in digital government initiatives and smart city programs
Key Requirements
  • Experience
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development
  • Strong experience working with Public Sector / Government clients
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex IT deals
  • Language Skills
  • Fluency in Arabic (mandatory)
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Domain Expertise
  • Experience in one or more areas:
  • Digital Transformation
  • Cybersecurity
  • Enterprise IT Solutions / System Integration
  • Strong network within government and public sector organizations
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments
