Position Title: Key Account Manager – End User & Trade

Employment: Permanent

Job Description

The Key Account Manager will support and generate sales for DEWALT & STANLEY from Channel Partners in the End User & Trade business in Qatar. The role involves setting and meeting sales targets, managing commercial objectives, developing communication strategies to improve relationships, managing operational requirements, presenting to key accounts, exploring new distribution channels, implementing actions based on market requirements, product demonstrations, brand management, maintaining merchandising standards, and driving acquisition of customers and POS communication.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with key accounts across Qatar in construction and Oil & Gas industries to drive market share.
  • Focus on key projects with effective coverage of all segments, ensuring category penetration and close rate contracts with service plans.
  • Propose value-added solutions via demonstrations for end-user applications, highlighting features & benefits.
  • Develop go-to strategy in Qatar for DEWALT & STANLEY to make the brands market leaders.
  • Engage SBD management for top-to-top meetings with high-potential accounts.
  • Provide product/safety training & jobsite events to support customers in driving higher productivity.
  • Manage distribution: collaboration, training distributor sales force, inventory management, market coverage, drive focus categories, and biweekly reviews.
  • Engage trade market to ensure branding, promotions & maximize SOW.
  • Maximize coverage in trade, add more partners for better penetration & increase customer base.
  • Create strong brand differentiation by introducing NPI’s into the market.
  • Submit proposals to distributor for stocking products based on the opportunity pipeline for phase channel & end users.
  • Conduct market research on new products and communicate the voice of the customer to Marketing and product management.
Qualifications
  • Experience in planning sales promotions, activations, and merchandising.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to interact with clients at various levels and collaborate with dealers and customers.
  • Commercial awareness to identify market opportunities and ability to research new strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Excellent customer focus and key account management skills.
  • Working well in a team and engaging in cross-functional support.
  • Demonstrated planning and implementation abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, sales, or marketing with at least 3 years of relevant experience in sales distribution, channel execution, and administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the organization at public events, media engagements, product launches, demonstrations, and trade shows.
  • Strong planning & organization to manage multiple tasks and track customer and product information.
  • Proficient communication skills with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Teamwork skills for driving conversions and collaborating on events, blitzes, and training.
  • Coordination skills to manage and motivate other functions (e.g., sales/supply chain) to meet targets and achieve outcomes.
  • Computer skills for generating reports, analyzing marketing metrics, extracting data, and using e-commerce platforms and social media for customer engagement and product promotion.
