Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Hydraulics Sales Engineer to lead business development and sales activities across Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in hydraulic systems and industrial sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering technical solutions to customers in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine, Construction, Manufacturing, and Heavy Industries.
The role requires strong commercial acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to independently manage major customers and projects while contributing to the company's long-term growth strategy in Qatar.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within key industry sectors.
- Develop and execute account growth plans for strategic customers.
- Drive market penetration for hydraulic products, services, and engineered solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast future business opportunities.
- Manage relationships with major EPC contractors, end users, OEMs, and industrial customers.
- Establish long-term partnerships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews and customer engagement activities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide technical consultation and solution-based selling for hydraulic applications.
- Review customer specifications and recommend suitable products and system solutions.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations for major projects and contracts.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and pursue project opportunities through tenders and direct negotiations.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in compliance with customer requirements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to project completion.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and secure order conversions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze customer requirements and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide regular market feedback and strategic recommendations to management.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales engineers and sales executives.
- Support knowledge sharing and technical development within the sales team.
- Assist management in developing sales processes and best practices.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity tracking through CRM systems.
- Submit periodic sales reports, business plans, and market intelligence updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ethical business practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional certifications in Hydraulic Systems or Fluid Power Engineering are advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in hydraulic products, fluid power systems, or industrial equipment sales.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Qatar market.
- Proven experience managing key accounts and delivering significant revenue growth.
- Strong exposure to project sales and tendering activities.

- Relationship-building and stakeholder management expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
- Existing network within Qatar's Oil & Gas, Marine, Construction, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
- Experience representing international hydraulic brands.
- Knowledge of local tendering and procurement processes.
- Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
