We are seeking a Sales Manager to join the Cluster Sales team at Four Seasons Hotels Qatar
, representing Four Seasons Hotel Doha and Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl‑Qatar
. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales and plays a key role in driving revenue performance across both properties.
Four Seasons Hotel Doha is a beachfront urban retreat in Doha, Qatar, featuring 237 rooms, 20 townhouses, multiple restaurants including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, 5 pools, a private beach, a fitness centre, and a spa with extensive hydrotherapy facilities. The hotel opened in April 2005, was renovated in 2019 and reopened in March 2020. It is located in the business district of Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities- Administer the sales program of the hotel
- Implement all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Commercial plan
- Actively participate in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the Hotel’s budgets
- Solicit business from assigned local corporate, long‑stay, group, and leisure segments for rooms, food & beverage, banquet, and all hotel business
- Write strategic sales action plans for assigned local corporate, long‑stay, group, and leisure segments
- Closely monitor accounts revenue and business production
- Maximize up‑selling opportunities whenever possible
- Attend related work functions and promotional events (e.g., trade shows) and promote sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the hotel
- Plan sales trips under the direct approval of the Director of Sales or Commercial Director to major market areas, calling on accounts within the specific market areas; report to the Director of Sales on potential markets requiring coverage
- Review direct competition and conduct regular research
- Assist office supporting staff in keeping and maintaining the hotel database and Central Information System efficiently and effectively
- Complete weekly Golden S&C sales calls report
- Maintain an up‑to‑date record of all account corporate profiles on Golden S&C
- Conduct tele‑marketing and research from internet and internal resources to qualify accounts
- Project a professional image when representing the Hotel
- Host corporate familiarization groups, hotel tours, attend trade shows or sales trips, webinars and assist colleagues whenever deemed necessary
- Handle any duties as designated by the Director of Sales
- Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications
- Strive to meet or exceed sales targets set by the Director of Sales
- Carry out day‑to‑day sales activities in local corporate, long‑stay, group, and leisure segments for rooms under the set policies and procedures
- Develop new accounts by mapping specific business and buying tendencies
- Conduct site inspections
- Maintain close communication with the Meetings and Events team in the group process of their accounts
- Attend the pre‑event and post‑event meetings as required, chaired by the Meetings and Events team
- Cross‑sell other sister properties, F&B, vouchers, SPA whenever possible
- Liaise with all WSOs to generate and follow up on potential sales leads
- Responsible for the training and development of other junior corporate and commercial sales staff to the finest professional standard and lead by example
- Create and execute direct sales plan specific for new business development
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts in a similar role
- College or university degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent professional qualifications preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and third parties in a manner that consistently reflects Four Seasons Brand Values
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
