The Assistant Sales Manager – Multi-Property is responsible for supporting and driving sales activities across the Hotel Chains to achieve revenue, occupancy, and overall business growth objectives.

The role contributes to the development and execution of effective sales strategies while identifying new market opportunities and strengthening the commercial positioning of each property.

The position focuses on generating new business, managing and developing key corporate accounts, and building strong relationships with clients, travel partners, event planners, and other stakeholders. The role also supports cross-selling opportunities across the multi-property portfolio, monitors sales performance and market trends, and works closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are effectively delivered and sales targets are consistently achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets across all assigned properties.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, and changing customer trends.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site visits to generate leads and convert business opportunities.
2. Client & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel partners, event planners, and other business partners.
  • Develop new accounts while supporting the retention and growth of existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable accommodation, events, and hospitality solutions across the properties.
3. Partnerships & Market Representation
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, tourism organizations, travel partners, and event planners.
  • Represent the properties at trade shows, networking events, exhibitions, and other relevant industry functions.
  • Promote the multi-property portfolio and identify cross-selling opportunities across the different properties.
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
  • Monitor sales activities, account performance, revenue generation, and progress against established targets.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, market updates, and performance insights for management review.
  • Support effective utilization of sales budgets and recommend actions to improve sales performance and return on investment.
5. Team Coordination & Sales Support
  • Support the General Manager and Sales team in implementing sales plans and achieving departmental objectives.
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-oriented sales environment.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Reservations, Events, and other departments to ensure effective delivery of client requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of revenue and occupancy targets across assigned properties.
  • New account acquisition and existing client retention.
  • Sales-led conversion and business opportunity generation.
  • Sales budget utilization and return on investment.
  • Achievement of individual and team sales objectives.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Hotel Sales Management or Revenue Management certification is an advantage.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in hotel, hospitality, events, or multi-property sales is preferred.
  • Previous experience managing corporate accounts, travel partners, or hospitality clients is preferred.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, business development, and relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of hotel sales, revenue generation, occupancy, and market positioning.
  • Strong communication, presentation, networking, and client-servicing skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
  • Results-oriented with strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
