Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly driven and skilled Sales Engineer to promote and sell our Fire Fighting Systems and Fire Alarm Systems to clients across various sectors. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, where you will work closely with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide them with tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and target potential clients in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Provide customized fire safety solutions based on clients' needs and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and facility managers.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals, quotations, and project plans.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through to closing.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of systems.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients during pre-sales and after-sales stages.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably within the fire safety or related industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire fighting systems, fire alarm systems, and related safety products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations (NFPA, EN, local fire codes).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Previous experience in fire protection systems sales or engineering.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and fire protection systems design.
- Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the fire safety industry.
