We are looking for an experienced Chemist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to investigate the nature of different materials, such as chemicals, drugs, foods, oils and plastics. This role requires being able to interpret data from laboratory tests and experiments. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge in chemistry principles and techniques, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Conduct experiments in the laboratory using a variety of analytical instruments and techniques to identify chemical substances.
• Analyze and interpret data from experiments on samples for quality control or research purposes.
• Prepare reports on experimental results for evaluation by management and other stakeholders.
• Develop new methods of testing or refining existing methods to improve accuracy or efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues on projects related to chemistry research or development.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in the field of chemistry through literature review and attending seminars/conferences.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations when handling hazardous materials and dispose of them properly when necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Chemist in a laboratory environment
• Excellent knowledge of scientific principles, theories, and techniques related to chemistry
• Ability to use advanced laboratory equipment accurately and efficiently
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills

Salary: 1500 QAR
