Job Description:

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Doha. Our ideal candidate should be a professional and have experience with carpentry work. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures on site.

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools such as saws, chisels, planes or power saws.
• Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames and hardware such as locks.
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floor joists and door frames using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Assemble furniture components such as plywood parts to make furniture items such as cupboards or tables.
• Install structures and fixtures such as stairs, window frames or trim/ moldings.
• Inspect places or structures that require carpenter’s attention.
• Repair or replace damaged framework or other structure parts made of wood.
• Perform finishing work such as sanding surfaces down to specified thicknesses or installing drywall sheets in preparation for painting process.

• Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 1 year)
• Ability to read technical documents/blueprints/drawings and to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Attention to detail when measuring & cutting materials
• Excellent level of knowledge & experience in the use of hand tools & power tools related to the trade

• Salary package of 1300 QAR per month plus overtime pay rates for extra hours worked
