American International Contractors (Special Projects), Inc. (AICI-SP) is seeking a TSS Support Specialist to work overseas on a U.S. Embassy project in Doha, Qatar. An active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance is a requirement for this position.

We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Alarm Technician to join our security systems team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, service, and maintenance of microwave sensor, fence protection systems, alarm systems, and CCTVs ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises while learning from experienced technicians.

• Assist in the installation and configuration of alarm systems, including intrusion detection (fence protection), access control, security cameras, microwaves, monitoring systems and CINCH system.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing security systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Participate in site inspections to assess client needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Other duties as directed by the Electrical Superintendent, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (must be authorized to work in the U.S.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and circuitry.
• Desire to learn about alarm technology and security systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Understanding of alarm system components, including sensors, control panels, microwave, fence protection, and communication devices.
• Ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with software used for alarm system configuration and monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

• International construction industry experience interacting with various diverse cultures.
• Previous U.S. Government construction project experience.
• Overseas Building Operations (OBO) experience.
• Experience in a technical or hands‑on role, preferably in the security or electronics field.
• Familiarity with common alarm systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and IP‑based security systems.
