AC Technician

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented AC Technician to join our team in Doha Qatar. As an AC Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various air conditioning systems ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction in our challenging desert climate.

• Install, inspect and maintain a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration units including chillers, split ACs, VRF/VRV systems and air handling units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Respond quickly to customer complaints and emergency service requests providing excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance and recommend energy‑efficient solutions to optimize operations.
• Handle refrigerants responsibly and in compliance with local and international standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of facilities and share knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices in the industry.

• Diploma or certification in HVAC Refrigeration or a related field.
• Minimum of 23 years of experience as an AC Technician preferably in a similar climate.
• Proven expertise in installing, maintaining and repairing various AC systems including chillers, split ACs, VRF/VRV systems and air handling units.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in conducting preventive maintenance and servicing of HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of energy‑efficient HVAC solutions and practices.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental policies related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in handling refrigerants in accordance with industry standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for potential onsite visits.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary.
