• Perform major and minor repairs and preventive and corrective maintenance for general, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Advise Lead Maintenance Technician/Storekeeper on ordering spares and accessories for preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate and prioritize repair tasks and respond in a timely manner to reduce downtime.
• Attend new equipment training, train staff and demonstrate proper safe use and operation of equipment. Identify and correct unsafe conditions and practices and notify Lead Maintenance Technician of any damage, abuse or negligent use.
• Track work orders and communicate/update status.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.

• Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
• Keep abreast of market trends and developments.
• Assist in response to any emergency or major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Special Assistance program.

• Grade 3:
  High School qualification with minimum 1 year of job‑related experience.
• OR Grade 3:
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with no prior job‑related work experience.
• High School, Diploma or equivalent trade certification in commercial appliance repair and preventive maintenance.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a Hotel/Hospitality/Facilities Management company.
• Experience in a similar capacity in a multi‑cultural environment.

• Advanced mechanical skills and ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and O/M manuals.
• Knowledge of 460 volt AC circuit and advanced troubleshooting skills preferred.
