Boom Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Truck Operator to operate truck-mounted cranes for lifting, moving, and placing heavy materials and equipment at the job site. The candidate must ensure safe and efficient lifting operations in compliance with site and safety standards.

Operate boom trucks to load, unload, and transport materials to designated areas.

Perform lifting operations following the sites rigging and lifting plan.

Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the truck and crane are in proper working condition.

Safely maneuver and position the boom to ensure accurate material placement.

Maintain proper communication with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors during lifting activities.

Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and local regulations.

Report any faults, mechanical issues, or incidents immediately to the supervisor.

Assist with minor maintenance or cleaning of the boom truck as required.

Complete daily operational and inspection logs.

Valid Heavy Vehicle / Crane Operator License (as per Qatar Traffic Department or equivalent).

Minimum 3 years of experience operating boom trucks in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments.

Knowledge of rigging, lifting operations, and load-handling safety standards.

Ability to interpret lifting plans and follow instructions accurately.

Must be physically fit and safety-oriented.

Certification in Safe Lifting Operations / Rigging & Slinging (preferred).

Strong understanding of lifting safety and site procedures.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and situational awareness.

Ability to work under pressure and in varying site conditions.
