Fire Alarm Operator

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection and security systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Monitor and respond to fire alarms and other emergency signals from various properties
• Coordinate with emergency services and dispatch them to the appropriate location when necessary
• Conduct routine checks of fire protection and security systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with fire alarm systems
• Maintain accurate records of all alarms, responses, and maintenance activities
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and address any concerns or questions
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our services

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in fire protection or security systems is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and emergency procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
