The Scaffolding Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating scaffold erection crews to ensure the safe and efficient execution of all scaffolding activities. This role supports the Scaffolding Supervisor in ensuring that scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling works are carried out in compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the Scaffolding Supervisor in supervising all scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
  • Ensure that scaffolds are constructed according to approved standards, procedures, and project specifications.
  • Lead, coordinate, and manage scaffold crews in the handling, transferring, storing, and disposal of scaffolding materials.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings with scaffold crews to assign tasks and monitor progress.
  • Oversee housekeeping activities post-scaffolding works to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Monitor worksite safety practices and ensure compliance with client safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report any issues, hazards, or deviations to the Scaffolding Supervisor for immediate corrective action.
  • Ensure that all scaffolding activities are executed efficiently and within the specified timelines.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Valid scaffolding certification.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Scaffolding Foreman in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling procedures.
  • Familiarity with project standards, safety requirements, and industry practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of scaffolding systems and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to guide, train, and motivate scaffold crews effectively.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
