Primary Purpose of the Job
Perform general maintenance and repair activities (hands‑on) on all mechanical equipment in Idd El Shargi Asset / PWHF Halul, in a safe and efficient manner; maximize productivity through the effective use of all available resources. Closely work with colleagues in own and other departments to accomplish effective cross training.

- Cooperation with other fellow workers of his own department as well as from other departments is a key element for the overall effectiveness of the operation.
- Be fully conversant with station emergency and operating procedures and all relevant statutory regulations be aware of and adhere to such regulations so as to develop a safe and efficient working environment.
Minimum Education
Minimum of Secondary education plus two years of studies on technical mechanical matters for industrial applications, gas and air compressors, centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, valves, gearboxes, diesel engines. Certificates and/or diploma granted by an officially recognized educational institution in the relevant country.
Minimum ExperienceMinimum of five years relevant hands‑on experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably with intervention in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment utilized in offshore installations, such as gas turbines and diesel engines for electric power generation, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, reciprocating and screw type air compressors, cranes, gas compressors, etc.
- Knowledgeable in alignment of rotating equipment, vibration monitoring routines and interpretation.
- Experienced in installation, troubleshooting and repair works of above‑mentioned mechanical equipment.
- Experienced in the utilization of work and safety procedures such as permit‑to‑work systems and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Able to read P&’s and other typical mechanical equipment related drawings and documents.
- Experienced in using SAP software system.
