MHE Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counter Pallet, Crown, VNA Machine).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential problems and safety concerns.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
• Inspect and repair forklift attachments and accessories ensuring proper functionality.
• Perform electrical and electronic diagnostics and repairs on forklift control systems.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed including parts used and labor hours.
• Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective solutions for complex forklift issues.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in forklift maintenance and repair.

• Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic (2-5 years).
• Technical education or certification in forklift mechanics or a related field is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for forklift systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety-conscious.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
