Electronics Technician

Experience:

5 years in the field of doors installation

The electrician performs, maintains, examines and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. They use knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical concepts to identify equipment malfunctions and apply skills to restore tools to proper operation. The electrician supplies knowledgeable mechanical and electrical/electronic assistance throughout production.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, as well as electrical/electronic tools, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power materials, drives, measurement and testing equipment.
• Plan and execute work requiring a thorough understanding of electrical/electronics and mechanical theories, principles, compose specifications, regular and national electrical codes, properties of different materials, operation principles, and application of digital devices.
• Install, start, and shut down devices according to business safety and security procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
• Encourage drivers and line auto mechanics on operating procedures and requirements for safely operating with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and parts.
• Inform proper administration and line technicians of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent risks.
• Maintain company-required performance and maintenance documents for specific equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures as directed.
• Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Assist and train various other maintenance and other technical-level staff members.
