We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work closely with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required and the layout of the structure
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut materials using hand or power saws
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, and hardware
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Finish surfaces by sanding, staining, painting, or varnishing
- Inspect structures to ensure they are up to code and safe for use
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building materials and construction processes
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- English language proficiency is preferred but not required
Salary: $1,300 per month.
Location:
Full‑time position located in Doha, Qatar.
