Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

A reputable construction company in Doha is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The role involves constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials using a variety of tools to complete projects according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
• Cut shape and smooth wood pieces using hand or power tools
• Install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and framing
• Build cabinets, bookcases, counters, and other wooden structures
• Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Communicate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, minimum of 3 years
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using hand or power tools
• Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
• Good math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials when needed
• Attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills

$1300 per month, negotiable based on experience.

Doha. Candidate must be willing to relocate if not already based in Doha.

Full-time, 40 hours per week. 1‑year contract with possibility for extension.

• Free round‑trip ticket to Doha at the start of contract and at the end if contract is extended
