Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of kitchen equipment to identify issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform timely repairs on various types of kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers and refrigeration units.
- Install new kitchen appliances and ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment for compliance and tracking.
- Degree or Diploma in a Technical course; technical certification in appliance repair is a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in facilities management or hotels, resorts, offshore rigs/platforms, or residential camps.
- Preferably with offshore/rig experience.
- Must possess Food Safety Level 2 certificate as minimum.
- Knowledge in catering services including VIP services/banquet functions.
- HACCP certificate will be an added value.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems specific to kitchen appliances.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to commercial kitchens.
