Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy equipment ensuring swift identification of problems to minimize downtime. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery including oil changes, filter replacements, and hydraulic system checks. Repair and replace defective parts using various tools and techniques ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed, providing detailed documentation for future reference.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in heavy equipment maintenance preferred. Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience working with heavy machinery in construction, Oil and Gas, or related industries. Certification in heavy equipment repair or maintenance from a recognized institution is highly desirable. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides for various machinery types.
