We are looking for an experienced lifting supervisor for Qatar.
Experience RequiredMinimum 5 years of field experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lift plans, coordinate teams (crane operators, riggers, signalmen), and ensure proper ground conditions.
- Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the Lifting Plan.
- Assess heavy/critical lifting operations to ensure proper planning, crane selection, equipment selection, instruction and supervision.
- Brief the lifting team on the Lifting Plan, risk control measures and safe lifting procedures before any operation.
- Inspect lifting equipment (cranes, slings, etc.), ensuring they are in good working order and correct equipment is used.
- Maintain accurate records of lift plans, risk assessments, equipment inspections and other documentation.
- Frequent contact with Site In Charge and Supervisors to exchange information and suggest improvements to lifting equipment inspection, maintenance and operating systems.
- Ensure that ground conditions are safe for mobile crane operations.
- Report unsafe conditions, taking suitable measures to rectify them for safe lifting operations.
