Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary

Refrigeration Technician position at Swan Global WLL located in Doha, Qatar. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on performing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities, operating refrigeration plant systems, and ensuring efficient functioning of refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.

• Carry out PPM and CM work according to maintenance schedules and engineer instructions.
• Operate and monitor refrigeration plant room equipment to maintain efficient performance.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults in refrigeration systems, compressors, pumps, condensers, and related equipment.
• Accurately update and close work orders in CMMS, maintaining complete maintenance records.
• Supervise contractors under AMC, coordinate maintenance activities, and monitor work quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company procedures.

• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience in industrial refrigeration maintenance.
• ITI in Refrigeration or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of Ammonia Screw Compressors, Evaporative Condensers, Glycol Centrifugal Pumps, Compressed Air Systems, and Snow Making Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, technical drawings, and blueprints.
• Experience with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and CMMS systems.
• Proficient in SCADA operation and monitoring.
