Electrical Technician – Ammonia Plant Room

Doha, DAW, QA. Full time on site. Join a dynamic industrial ammonia plant maintenance team committed to ensuring electrical integrity and operational efficiency.

• Electrical Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on all plant equipment, including high-speed machinery and PLC-controlled processes.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues on AC drives, MCCs, panels, sensors, and control circuits; read and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, PLC ladder logic, and technical diagrams.
• PLC & Controls: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor programming changes on PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs; work with industrial communication protocols and networked devices.
• Ammonia Refrigeration Support: Provide dedicated electrical support for the plant’s industrial ammonia refrigeration systems to maintain operational stability.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and accurately document all work orders and maintenance activities in the CMMS.

• Minimum IT or diploma equivalent and a Diploma (required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
• Direct experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and related electrical controls.
• Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• 3 years (required) experience in Industrial Electrical Technician / Ammonia plant operations.
