We are hiring experienced HVAC Chiller Technicians for a prestigious long-term QAFCO Government Project in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for HVAC professionals with industrial maintenance experience especially in Oil & Gas or hazardous environments.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial HVAC chillers and air-conditioning systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Diagnose faults and replace defective HVAC components
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot 415V control circuits and PLC-integrated HVAC systems
- Carry out installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and permit-to-work procedures
- Attend emergency breakdowns and support on-call maintenance activities
- Prepare maintenance reports using MS Office
- Regular Full-Time Diploma in HVAC from a recognized institute
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial HVAC maintenance
- Experience in Oil & Gas plants or hazardous industrial environments preferred
- Experience with large chillers, industrial HVAC controls, filtration systems, and PLC interfaces
- Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
- Ability to troubleshoot 415V control circuits
- Good understanding of HSEQ practices and permit-to-work systems
- Good English communication skills
- Must score 70% or above in the written HVAC test to qualify for the interview
- Previous QAFCO experience will be an added advantage
