Sr Electrical Technician

- 1. Technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required to effectively evaluate the condition of electrical systems.
- 2. Understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution (DB, MCC, SMB, SMDM&MDB), lighting
Control Panel, Emergency Diesel generators, Automatic Transfer switch, Powerfactor correction system, UPS/CBS Emergency lighting, switch gear, and control systems. - 3. Ability to identify and diagnose issues in electrical systems, such as faulty wiring, overloaded circuits, and outdated equipment.
- 4. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like Insulation resistance Tester, multimeters, leakage tester, Portableappliance tester, clamp meters, and infrared cameras.
- 5. Experience in inspectingelectrical equipment (e.g., circuit breakers, panels, motors, generators) forwear, damage, and inefficiency.
- 6. Knowledge of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance practices.
- 7. Strong understanding of electrical safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- 8. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- 9. Knowledge about energy savingpractice LED lighting, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and starters
- 1. Basic English knowledge and Proficiency in documenting findings, preparing condition reports, and recommending corrective actions.
- 2. Findings associated with electrical systems, to assess performance and condition such as fire hazards and equipment failure.
- 3. Familiarity with facility management software CMMS/CAFM, and tools for data collection and analysis.
- 4. Preparing clear, concise, and accurate condition assessment reports.
- 1. 5+ years’ experience in FM or Construction Project Commissioning
