Welder vacancy in Doha Qatar

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components together to build structures, machines, tools and other items according to specifications. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000 QAR per month. We are open to hiring both experienced welders as well as those with no experience.

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints and plans in order to determine the appropriate welding techniques required for each job
• Cut materials such as metal plates and pipes prior to welding
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe manner
• Use oxy-acetylene torches for cutting and brazing when necessary
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control purposes
• Repair existing structures or equipment using welding techniques
• Follow all safety protocols when operating welding equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred (but not required)
• Ability to read blueprints or diagrams accurately
• Knowledge of different types of welding processes such as MIG/MAG/TIG/Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Experience with oxy-acetylene torches is preferred (but not required)
• Physically fit with the ability to stand or kneel for long periods of time
• Ability to follow directions carefully
