Plumber in Doha, Qatar Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and knowledgeable Plumber to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing systems as well as ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 and we are willing to consider an immigrant for this role.
Needs for the CandidateThe ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing, including both residential and commercial projects. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The successful candidate must be able to read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste disposal systems.
Responsibilities- Installing pipes and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs and dishwashers
- Repairing leaks
- Replacing worn parts
- Installing new fixtures
- Testing pipe systems for leaks
- Performing preventative maintenance on plumbing systems
- Repairing or replacing broken pipes
- Cleaning drain lines
- Inspecting equipment for code compliance
- Following safety procedures when working with dangerous materials such as gas lines
- Providing excellent customer service when dealing with clients or customers
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and schematics
- Ability to use power tools (e.g., pipe cutters) efficiently
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
