Role Description

The Automotive Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves performing routine vehicle inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and completing necessary repairs and adjustments. Day-to-day tasks include conducting oil changes, brake and suspension checks, and general vehicle maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and safety. The technician will maintain accurate service records, follow workshop safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to meet operational timelines.

The role also requires communicating clearly about repair needs and providing recommendations for preventative maintenance.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for light and heavy vehicles.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Automotive Repair and Suspension diagnostics and adjustments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in performing routine Oil Changes and related fluid checks.
  • Technical diploma or certificate in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, ideally within a fleet or construction environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic reports.
  • Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work in a fast-paced workshop setting.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining service logs and using diagnostic tools; valid driver’s license is an advantage.
