Job Summary:
To assist painters in preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to ensure a high-quality finish. The helper is responsible for maintaining tools, keeping the work area clean, and supporting the painting team with all necessary tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, scraping, filling holes, masking).
- Mix, thin, and stir paints and other coatings as directed.
- Carry and set up ladders, scaffolding, and other work platforms.
- Clean and maintain brushes, sprayers, rollers, and other equipment.
- Cover and protect furniture, floors, and fixtures from paint splatters.
- Assist in cleaning up the job site upon completion of work.
