This is a full-time, on-site Finished Carpenter role based in Qatar. The Finished Carpenter will install, assemble, and finish high-quality millwork, cabinetry, doors, wall panels, trims, and other interior wood elements according to project specifications and shop drawings. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, performing precise joinery, fitting hardware, sanding, staining, painting or varnishing surfaces, and ensuring clean, accurate finishes.
The role involves working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules, resolve on-site issues, and maintain safety and quality standards. The Finished Carpenter will also be responsible for using and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment, following company procedures, and contributing to timely project completion.
- Strong carpentry and finishing skills, including experience with millwork installation, cabinetry, doors, trims, and architectural joinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and specifications, with solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and practices.
- Experience working on commercial, hospitality, or high-end residential interior projects, preferably within fit-out or joinery environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Qatar, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
- Basic math and measurement skills, good problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in carpentry or joinery; prior experience as a Finished Carpenter or Joiner is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing, and working with materials and tools for extended periods.
