About the job Fire and Safety Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and maintain firefighting systems and PPE such as SCBA, BA airline systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Conduct regular checks for gas detection and monitoring equipment and maintain accurate logs.
- Support hot work, confined space, and work-at-height controls as per PTW requirements.
- Assist in conducting emergency drills and ensure proper staging of safety equipment.
Certifications:
- NEBOSH certification.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in fire/safety equipment maintenance.
- Valid drivers license.
- 3-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical operations.
- Hands-on training and experience with gas detection and monitoring systems.
- Strong knowledge of SCBA and BA airline operations.
- Proven experience in equipment inspection and maintenance.
- Defensive driving certification is an advantage.
