Cctv Technician

• Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
• Work with IP and analogue cameras, NVRs, DVRs, video management systems, monitors, and storage devices.
• Perform cable pulling, termination, labelling, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Configure camera positioning, recording schedules, network settings, and remote monitoring access.
• Diagnose and repair faults related to cameras, cabling, power supplies, storage, and network connectivity.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Read technical drawings, equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications.
• Maintain service records, inspection reports, asset details, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with network, electrical, security, and facilities teams during installation and maintenance.
• Follow site safety procedures and applicable security-system regulations.

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with IP cameras, analogue cameras, NVRs, DVRs, VMS, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics, network switches, PoE, TCP/IP, and basic network configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot camera, cabling, power, recording, and connectivity issues.
• Experience with access-control, intercom, or other ELV systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with major CCTV brands and video management platforms is preferred.
• Qatar or GCC experience and knowledge of Qatar MOI requirements are preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently at project sites.
