The carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings.

• construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety

• hanging doors
• drilling and setting door hardware
• setting windows
• layout for stairs and common rafters
• formwork
• reading blueprints
• mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with hospitality experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Efficient time management and task prioritization abilities
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform carpentry tasks
• Keen attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures in carpentry
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Organized approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
