We are in search of a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team in Doha, Qatar. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials according to specifications, installing fixtures such as windows and doors, and using hand tools and power tools to complete projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry. You must also have excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions. A Biometric passport is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Install structures, fixtures, flooring, and cabinets made of wood or other materials
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accuracy
- Use hand tools or power tools to shape or smooth surfaces
- Inspect work pieces for defects before installation or assembly
- Build scaffolding for large jobs
- Follow safety rules at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Good understanding of math measurements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- English speaking abilities are required for this position.
- A Biometric passport is preferred but not required.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
