Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
We are looking for experienced Instrument Technicians to perform installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, loop checking, and commissioning of instrumentation systems in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas facilities. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with transmitters, control valves, positioners, ESD/DCS/PLC systems, and hazardous‑area instrumentation.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and testing of instrumentation equipment.
Carry out instrumentation erection, installation, loop checking, commissioning, and testing.
Maintain and troubleshoot flow, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters.
Work on Fisher‑Rosemount Smart transmitters and Masoneilan/Fisher Smart positioners.
Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot control valves including Masoneilan, Fisher, Metso, on/off valves and solenoid‑operated valves.
Troubleshoot switches, regulators, filters, and related instrumentation equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot ESD, DCS, and local PLC control panel equipment.
Perform disassembly, repair, reassembly, calibration, and functional testing of instruments and valves.
Support installation and commissioning of new instrumentation systems.
Support instrumentation related to compressors, turbines, anti‑surge valves/controllers, and Woodward governors.
Follow PTW, hazardous‑area, safety, and site procedures during all activities.
Minimum 2-year ITI or equivalent certificate course in Instrumentation/Electronics.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas industries.
3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering preferred.
PTW 2 training is mandatory.
Strong hands‑on experience in instrumentation maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, erection, loop checking, and commissioning.
