Mechanical Helper Madre Integrated Engineering Mechanical Engineering
Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Helper to join their team in Doha. The role involves providing essential support to mechanical technicians and fitters in an industrial and Oil & Gas environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist mechanical technicians and fitters with equipment installation, maintenance, dismantling, and repair activities.
- Carry tools, materials, spare parts, and equipment to designated work areas.
- Support the cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and piping components.
- Assist with bolt tightening, gasket replacement, equipment alignment, and basic fitting work under supervision.
- Prepare work areas and safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organize tools and materials after completing work.
- Follow supervisors' instructions, permit-to-work requirements, LOTO procedures, and site safety regulations.
- Wear the required PPE and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment defects.
Required:
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction, industrial, maintenance, or Oil & Gas projects.
Qualifications:
- Secondary education, ITI, or basic mechanical trade training is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to identify common tools, fasteners, valves, pipes, and mechanical components.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and working in hot, dusty, elevated, or confined areas.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety, PPE, housekeeping, and manual handling.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of technicians or fitters.
