- Base salary is £28,065.00 – £31,887.00, however with AH & standby requirements you could earn from £34,337 to £38,092
- Working 1 in 5 weekends and some bank holidays expected.

- There are two positions available, a permanent role & a 16 month secondment.
Across our region we have 833 wastewater treatment sites; you will be responsible for operating and maintaining several of our Wastewater Treatment Works and associated sewage pumping stations in line with environmental permits, company Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health and Safety requirements. This will include:
- Taking responsibility for operating sites in line with environmental permits to protect the environment; general maintenance of equipment and site, taking effluent samples to monitor and improve biological performance
- Identifying and, where applicable, undertaking reactive work as required; raising reactive work for equipment and liaising with a multi‑discipline craft team to facilitate repairs
- Identifying potential pollution risks from our assets, taking measures to prevent pollution, and escalating when required
- Liaising and coordinating with the area Supervisor and team members on operating activities and continuous improvement for the area
- Ensuring personal and colleagues’ safety through compliance with company Health and Safety procedures
- Understanding and adhering to quality system requirements to ensure audit compliance
- Taking ownership of sites, ensuring house‑keeping standards are maintained and defects reported
- Being willing to develop and learn within the role and having the flexibility and competence to operate and maintain multiple sites
- Participating in arrangements and cover for annual leave and sickness for the area of operation
- Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- Participating in out‑of‑hours standby rota.
- Demonstrable experience of compliance and adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Enthusiastic about putting our customers first every day
- Awareness of regulatory bodies such as Environment Agency/NRW
- Computer systems literate
- Passionate about our outdoor environment and protecting our surroundings
- Team player, willing to take part in all necessary training requirements for the role
