Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer position at Linde Material Handling in the HU and DN postcode areas. Join a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment and contribute to maintaining and servicing a diverse range of equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups to keep our fleet running smoothly.
• Travel to various customer locations and provide exceptional service, building strong customer relationships.
• Work both hands-on and in problem-solving situations, maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer; forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians are particularly suitable.
• Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is desirable.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
• Comfort with using IT equipment for records, ordering, and related tasks.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Option of a 40-hour or 45-hour week, Monday to Friday; shift premium and OT available.
