Mobile Plant Fitter - Excellent Earning Potential
We're recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team.
This is a varied field-based role involving servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of heavy plant and commercial equipment.
The Role
· Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy plant.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
· Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs on-site.
· Work on engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems.
· Carry out fault-finding using diagnostic equipment.
· Complete accurate maintenance and repair records.
· Work independently across regional sites.
· Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard.
About You
· Previous experience working on heavy plant machinery.
· HGV trailer experience preferred.
· Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
· Good electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills.
· Previous mobile / field-based engineering experience.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
· NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification preferred, although strong relevant experience will be considered.
