Mobile Plant Fitter

We're recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team.
This is a varied field-based role involving servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of heavy plant and commercial equipment.
The Role- Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy plant.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out repairs on-site.
- Work on engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems.
- Carry out fault-finding using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Work independently across regional sites.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a high standard.
- Previous experience working on heavy plant machinery.
- HGV trailer experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
- Good electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills.
- Previous mobile / field-based engineering experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification preferred, although strong relevant experience will be considered.
- £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
