Salary: £50,000 - £52,000
Shift Pattern: 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off – 12-hour days and nights
Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a well-paid role within a large, heavy manufacturing environment?
We are recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician to join an established engineering team at a busy manufacturing plant in Doncaster. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of heavy industrial machinery and production equipment.
The Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across the manufacturing site
* Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime
* Fault finding on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, relays and other industrial equipment
* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
* Carrying out electrical installation and modification work where required
* Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
* Accurately completing maintenance documentation and handovers
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognised electrical qualification – essential
* Experience working as a Maintenance Electrician or Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, industrial or heavy engineering environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Mechanical maintenance experience would be advantageous
* Experience working with heavy machinery, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, drives and automated equipment
* A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
* The ability to work effectively as part of a shift-based engineering team
The Package
* Salary: £50,000 - £52,000
* 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off shift pattern
