As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive as needed to support security-related operations. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, trespassing, and other policy violations; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
