Job Overview:

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Trial Paralegal to join its Miami office. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience in both state and federal courts and a strong background in commercial litigation.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can provide comprehensive trial and case management support to litigation attorneys..

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $90,000 -$100,000 commensurate with experience
  • On-site position in the Firm's Miami office
  • Firm pays for parking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare trial materials, including binders, exhibits, witness files, and evidence.
  • Support attorneys through all stages of a case, from filing to post-trial.
  • Draft and format legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas.
  • Conduct legal and factual research and summarize findings.
  • Manage documents and e-discovery, including indexing and production tracking.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
  • Assist with deposition scheduling, preparation, and exhibits.
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Solid trial experience in both state and federal courts (required).
  • Commercial litigation experience (required).
  • Antitrust litigation experience (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience in a litigation-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and case management.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation support software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
