Connectivity Manager - Automotive Industry
- Full Time, On Site in Doral, FL
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually + approximately $40,000 in benefits including company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, daily lunch allowance, company vehicle, and PTO.
Seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Connectivity Manager to spearhead the preparation, launch, and regional roll-out of cutting-edge Connected Car Services in the Central and South America (CSA) region. This pivotal role focuses on delivering advanced vehicle connectivity features to enhance customer experience while aligning with global strategies and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional development and launch strategy for Connected Car Services (CCS) in alignment with global headquarters directives.
- Develop tailored rollout plans for key markets across the CSA region.
- Conduct competitive analysis and gather consumer insights related to connected vehicle technologies.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of CCS implementation from planning and testing to market deployment and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with global teams (Product, R&D, IT, Legal) to customize global CCS platforms to regional requirements.
- Define local service features, pricing models, business rules, cost management strategies, KPIs, and rollout timelines across target markets.
- Engage and manage relationships with external partners and vendors such as telecom providers, telematics platform operators, and call center providers.
- Ensure alignment with local distributors on execution and support strategies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulatory standards for data privacy, telecommunications, and vehicle services.
- Coordinate regional certification of connectivity hardware and services in collaboration with technical and legal teams.
- Track post-launch KPIs including activation rates, service utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing feedback to HQ for continuous platform and feature enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or Business;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive or technology industries with a focus on connected car services, telematics, or digital product management.
- Proven track record in project management and successful service launches across diverse markets.
- Strong knowledge of connected vehicle technologies including telematics, infotainment, over-the-air updates, and mobile apps. Familiarity with automotive software ecosystems and connectivity platforms.
- Experience collaborating with mobile network operators (MNOs) or cloud service providers.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, matrixed organizations with regional and global stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and Korean is advantageous.
- Work Location:
On-site in the United States (Doral, FL).
