The primary responsibility of this role is to…

Provide patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse and assist the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, showering, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, nail care, monitoring fluid intake and output, and toileting.
• Measure residents' vital signs and blood pressure as directed by the nurse and report findings promptly.
• Implement all safety measures for residents and oneself, including proper body mechanics.
• Prepare admission packets and supplies for new residents.
• Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
